Which AI CAD tools actually give you a file
Two things decide whether a text-to-CAD tool is useful to you: can you generate anything without an account, and is what comes out a real CAD file or a picture of one. Almost every tool fails one of the two.

The pattern in that table
The market has split cleanly in two. Tools that produce real CAD put it behind an account. Tools you can use instantly produce images, not CAD, and at least one of them says so on the page you land on: the output arrives as PNG or JPG, and you are advised to trace it in your own CAD package afterwards.
That is worth knowing before you spend an afternoon on one. A raster image of a bracket cannot be measured, edited, or cut.
Where this one sits
Ungated, and the output is a real DXF with true circle and arc entities. The tradeoff is honest and worth stating plainly: the 2D track is what works fully today. Zoo and TextoCAD have more capable 3D solid engines, and if you need a STEP file for a machined part, they are the more complete products right now.
What you get here instead is no account, no credits, no limit, and published measurements of the output rather than a claim about it.
How to check any of these yourself
- Ask for a part with dimensions you know exactly.
- Open the result and measure it. Not the preview, the file.
- Check the file extension. If it is PNG or JPG, it is not CAD.
- Try to edit a feature. If you cannot change a hole diameter, you have a mesh.
